The Wolverines

The Wolverines were a great band from Mobile, AL. I only got to see them play a handful of times before they called it quits.

Some members went on to join Our Departure Project. At the time, ODP was a solo acoustic deal, consisting solely of Ben Cook. Ben was joined by Brian and Wes of The Wolverines and local guitar god, Joe Hudson, and the group subsequently changed their name to Amos & The Shoe.

Steven Laney played for a little while with Amos & The Shoe and eventually formed and fronts The Underhill Family Orchestra.
